Board of Directors

Since 1911, the WCA has been advocating for the chiropractic profession in Wisconsin.

Mission:

To advance the chiropractic profession and empower our members to better serve their patients, their communities, and each other.

Vision:

Positioning Wisconsin chiropractors as the preferred provider of musculoskeletal patient care and educating the public, policy makers, and payers on the clinical, economic, and public health value of chiropractic care.

The WCA office is headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin. Our address is 2401 American Lane, Madison, WI 53704.

The Association operates under the direction of its Board of Directors, with representation from each of the six districts across the state.


Executive Committee Officers

 

President: Chris Resch, DC is NE District #3 representative. He is a 1991 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Resch specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, with expertise in spinal manipulation and the coordination of integrating rehabilitative care into the treatment process. He practices at Schubbe Resch Chiropractic & Physical Therapy in Neenah, WI, the largest chiropractic group in the Fox Cities area. Dr. Resch has served as a guest speaker on Chiropractic and Sports Medicine at UW-Madison, UW Oshkosh, and The Wisconsin Back Society as well as Northeast Wisconsin Sports Medicine Conference, Affinity Health, ThedaCare, and numerous high schools in the Fox Valley.

Vice-President: Brenda Holland, DC is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. Since graduation, she has served on chiropractic and community committees. Dr. Holland has been actively teaching courses including anatomy, x-ray positioning, nutrition, and therapy modalities. She holds a Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics and currently practices at the Chiropractic Company in Germantown.

Treasurer: Tom Edwards, DC Following graduation from Palmer College in 1982, Dr. Tom Edwards worked in a large group practice in upstate New York for 4 years becoming a partner in the organization; and served as New York Chiropractic Association District 10 Treasurer during that time. After moving to WI in 1986 he established Edwards Chiropractic Office and promptly joined WCA. He has been an active member since. Dr. Edwards worked on the credentialing committee for a large southeastern WI provider group. More recently, Dr. Edwards has been a part of the WCA Insurance Relations Committee and as a pilot office for the CVN program. Dr. Edwards is currently the Chairman of the WCA Membership Committee. Outside of chiropractic, Dr. Edwards volunteers at his church, enjoys woodworking, sailing, exploring national parks with his wife of 35 years and spoiling his grandchildren.

Secretary: Jason Mackey, DC is a chiropractor in Madison, Wisconsin. While he specializes in treating athletes and active individuals, he also treats patients of all ages and varied levels of activity. Dr. Mackey represents the WCA's southcentral Wisconsin District.

District Directors

 

 

Bruce Davis, DC is a 1984 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. Since graduation, he has completed post-graduate education in chiropractic orthopedics, rehabilitation, and nutrition. He has served on numerous community boards and committees. Dr. Davis has special interests in fitness, exercising, and low-tech rehabilitation. He is currently in professional practice in Neillsville, WI.

Dr. Martin Jacobson, DC is a 1991 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. Since 2005, he has been practicing at Advocate Aurora Health Care in Green Bay and had previously operated a private practice in Luxemburg. His post graduate education has focused on the rehabilitation, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Jacobson has been the team chiropractor for the Green Bay Gamblers hockey team since 2008. He has been a member of the WCA for 31 years and serves as a Director for the Association’s Northeast District.

Michael Court, DC graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1989 and has been practicing back in Wisconsin ever since. Dr. Court is passionate about his work as an Upper Cervical chiropractor - where he has been actively treating patients for over 35 years. In addition to Upper Cervical Techniques, Dr. Court is also trained in Toggle Recoil, Atlas Orthogonal, Blair, and NUCCA .

Jacob Stoffel, DC graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) in 2020 and currently practices in Baldwin, WI. Dr. Stoffel is also currently involved with NWHSU as a professor in their doctoral program. He brings this teaching passion to bear both at the national and local level. Dr. Stoffel was recently an instructor at the 2024 WCA Fall Convention. When he isn't busy teaching, helping shape WCA CE opportunities, or eagerly treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading a good book, blacksmithing, and exploring his faith.

William Spontak, DC serves Monroe and the surrounding communities in WI through his practice, the Chiropractic Center of Monroe. Dr. Spontak uses chiropractic care to improve patients' health and wellness, taking a "whole person" approach to chiropractic care by looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain. In addition to his role on the WCA Board of Directors, Dr. Spontak has a wealth of experience with association membership through working with Palmer College of Chiropractic's Alumni Association.
